At Petjes World, we are deeply committed to the quality of our products and the working conditions at our suppliers’ factories. We set high standards — and we expect our partners to meet them.

All our products undergo strict quality control to ensure full compliance with relevant EU regulations on safety and material use.

Our products are manufactured in Korea, China, and Indonesia. To ensure that production meets our standards, we work closely with independent inspectors in these regions. They perform quality checks on both the products and the production conditions at the factories.

In addition, our Danish team regularly visits the factories to carry out on-site quality inspections.

Product samples are also sent to the independent German testing company, TÜV Rheinland, to ensure compliance with all applicable EU regulations.

Finally, when the products arrive at our warehouse in Galten, Denmark, we conduct our own in-house quality control before they are released for sale and added to stock.

Our quality control — both abroad and in-house — includes:

• Sewing quality: Tensile tests are performed to ensure that stitches and seams meet Newton force standards. This also includes tests on small parts such as plastic eyes, noses, and hearts.
  
• Sharp edges and foreign objects: Each product is checked for sharp edges and foreign materials like needles or metal.
  
• Suffocation hazards: Products are tested to ensure they pose no suffocation risks.
